Description disponible en anglais seulement Our client, a large digital agency, is looking for a Vice-president General Manager to run their Montreal office. This individual will be responsible for establishing, implementing and measuring strategic performance objectives and goals with their team. Responsible for the overall successful management of the Montreal office and exceeding revenue targets. Reporting directly to the President, this individual will manage their diverse digital offerings with their clients. Primary Accountabilities: 1) Sales/Revenue generation – Ensure new business development as per agency objectives; 2) Culture – Drive positive change to energize the client service team; 3) Operations – Deliver holistic P&L against set business objectives in matrixed structure; 4) Client Leadership – Maintain top to top relationships, client retention/satisfaction, and provide strategy, and stewardship; 5) Talent Management – Successfully engage and attract client services talent to produce great work, and cultivate a high-performance culture; and 6) Image & Business Development – Leverage and expand one’s network to increase agency profile and effectively position to meet organic growth and new business objectives; Accountabilities: * Ensuring the development and implementation of a clear strategic plan, designed to grow the business * Oversee overarching operations of the business unit * Coordinate the development of key performance goals for entire department * Provide direct management of key functional managers and executives in the business unit * Ensure the development of tactical programs to pursue targeted goals and objectives * Ensure overall delivery and quality of the department’s offerings to clients * Engage in key or targeted client activities * Supporting the development of a healthy internal culture that retains key employees and encourages their professional development. * Oversee key hiring, talent development and succession programs * Evaluate and approve department expenses * Communicate strategy and results to the department staff * Report key results to Sr. Management * Engage with other GM/VP for organizational strategic planning * Looking to the future of the business and making key decision and investment recommendations
Exigences
Position Requirements: * Minimum of 7 - 10 years of experience in an Agency environment, preferably with experience in sales and account management * Minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior management role, leading/growing a digital agency with an excellent understanding of digital media, analytics/BI, P&L, ops, client services, and creative disciplines. * Comprehensive knowledge of digital marketing businesses including the ability to assess, prioritize and implement measures to optimize performance * Proven ability to operate a business that is profitable * Proven leadership skills with the ability to effectively communicate and motive a team and drive results * Excellent judgment and problem-solving skills * Excellent interpersonal, presentation and relationship-building skills * Excellent customer service skills with the desire to exceed expectations * Ability to effectively respond to and meet the needs of a diverse client base * Computer skills: MS Office * Bold, innovative and enjoy challenging yourself * Big picture thinker, go-getter, self-starter
