(disponible en anglais seulement) Our client, a major international pharmaceutical company, is looking for their HR Operations Specialist, to work our of their North York office. Remote work is possible, to be discussed. The job responsibilities are: Diversity & Inclusion / Compliance requirements: Is an active member of the NA I&D group and the point of contact to oversee local, regional and Global I&D implementation of actions in Canada Leads the application process for various external recognition awards (such as Gender Parity certification, Top employer, and other surveys as appropriate) for all legal entities. Works in close collaboration with key stakeholders and various COEs to assist in the identification of the appropriate action items and monitors progress. Workplace & compliance policies and programs: Works closely with external legal partners in the event of legislation changes requiring modifications of workplace policies (eg. Harassment, violence in the workplace, etc) and/or the development and introduction of new policies. HR processes and projects: As part of strategic Workforce Planning initiatives, is responsible for the reconciliation of data between the retained tool and workday and assists the HRBPs with headcount, competency workshops (coordination, tracking, etc) and the rollout of action plans across multiple departments. Works in close partnership with the Talent CoE and HRBPs in the preparation and consolidation of existing data for people review meetings. Will also update and consolidate material to support the annual talent review calibration meetings and performance cycle and tracks employee individual development plan completion and talent movements in support of Talent development goals. Immigration: Tracks work permit expiry, PR card status and supports work permit request with external legal firm for all international hires and facilitates the workday process. Workday: Resolving system issues following data quality / integrity audits by liaising with managers and MyHR to have them perform actions in the system (eg. Supervisory orgs, monthly data cleaning leading up to year end processes, etc) . Will assist the HRBPs in the implementation and operational portion of various special projects such as organization transformations, corporate projects , and global initiatives, amongst others. Union relations: Is actively collaborating with the HR teams on union related matters and providing support in some key CLA related processes Work in partnership with the Labor relations specialist on various topics, such as: JLMC minute taking and actions tracking- Leads the operational portion for lay-off / reclassification processes (seniority lists)- Responsible of the application of the Probationary Review in alignment with the Collective Labor Agreement- Facilitates the job evaluation process for unionized job book reviews-
Basic Qualifications: The position requires a Bachelor's degree and a minimum of two to three years Human Resources or relevant business experience. Highly proficient with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint). Excellent written and verbal communications skills in both French and English. Solid customer support/relations experience. Preferred Qualifications: HR systems (Workday) and Excel experience. Experience working in a global mid-size to large company in a highly matrix environment. Prior professional work experience working in Human Resources department or other area requiring need for high level of discretion and confidentiality. Travel: Approximately 20%, primarily domestic.
