Our client, a food manufacturer based in Montreal West is looking for a human resources senior director, for it's Montreal operations and other north-american facilities. The role reports into the vice-president of operations, and requires strong knowledge of all HR facets in order to support all fonctions of the business. The ideal candidate, besides the requirements listed below, needs to be a pragmatic, performance focused-mindset manager, with strong abilities and capacity to conceptualize, engineer and build the next generation set of policies, reference documents, enhanced tools and processes to accelerate revenues for the business. Said simply, you have demonstrated your knack and passion for building and launching new HR productive business practices. You don't shy away from being hands-on, and getting involved with both the employees and the functional leaders. Your diversity savvyness and strong high business performance attitude will complement and continue to guide the established culture of the enterprise. Your strong decision-making ability will enable you to play a significant role in the guiding and execution of the strategic imperatives promoted by the company. University degree in HR or related field. HR related certifications. Minimum 5-10 years of HR experience ideally in operations or manufacturing. Experienced in various aspects of human resources including employee performance optimization, workforce planning, building, implimenting and promoting company policies and procedures. Knowledge of Québec labor law and employment regulations ( ideally also of other Canadian provinces), governmental reporting, external relations. Bilingual with excellent English written, spoken skills.
