Ingénieur(e) d’application / estimation

Vous êtes un(e) ingénieur(e) curieux(se), orienté(e) solutions, avec un intérêt pour la technique et la relation client ?
Dans ce rôle clé, vous évaluerez les besoins des clients, préparerez des soumissions et accompagnerez l’équipe de vente afin de transformer les projets en succès commerciaux. Vous aurez également l’occasion de contribuer à l’amélioration continue des produits et au support technique post-vente.

Votre rôle
En tant qu’Ingénieur(e) d’application / estimation, vous serez un maillon central entre les clients, les ventes et l’ingénierie. Vous analyserez les demandes techniques, proposerez des solutions adaptées, préparerez des devis et assurerez le suivi jusqu’à la réalisation des projets, tout en offrant un soutien technique aux clients.

Responsabilités principales

  • Évaluer les besoins et spécifications techniques des clients

  • Préparer des soumissions détaillées et calculer les coûts de projets

  • Gérer simultanément plusieurs projets à l’aide des outils CRM et ERP

  • Fournir un support technique et un accompagnement post-vente (diagnostic, dépannage à distance)

  • Collaborer avec les équipes d’ingénierie, R&D et marketing pour l’optimisation des produits et documents techniques

  • Participer à l’amélioration continue des processus et à l’identification d’opportunités de nouveaux produits

  • Maintenir une excellente relation avec les clients et contribuer à leur satisfaction

Profil recherché

  • Baccalauréat en génie mécanique ou discipline connexe

  • Minimum 2 ans d’expérience en estimation ou support technique, idéalement dans le domaine manufacturier (HVAC ou mécanique du bâtiment : un atout)

  • Capacité à lire et interpréter des plans et schémas techniques

  • Excellentes compétences en communication et en service client

  • Rigueur, sens de l’urgence et bonnes aptitudes en résolution de problèmes

  • Bilinguisme français-anglais requis

  • Maîtrise de Microsoft Office ; expérience avec ERP (Infor) et CRM (Salesforce) est un atout

In this key role, you will evaluate customer needs, prepare quotes, and support the sales team in turning projects into successful outcomes. You will also contribute to product improvements and provide technical support after the sale.

Your Role
As an Application / Estimation Engineer, you will serve as a key link between customers, sales, and engineering. You will analyze technical requests, propose tailored solutions, prepare cost estimates, and follow up on projects while providing technical support to ensure client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assess customer requirements and technical specifications

  • Prepare detailed quotations and calculate project costs

  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously using CRM and ERP tools

  • Provide post-sales technical support, including remote troubleshooting and guidance

  • Collaborate with engineering, R&D, and marketing teams to improve products and technical documentation

  • Contribute to process improvements and identify opportunities for new products

  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships to ensure satisfaction

Profile

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in estimation or technical support, ideally in a manufacturing environment (HVAC or building mechanics is an asset)

  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics

  • Strong communication skills and customer-service orientation

  • Detail-oriented, proactive, and effective at problem-solving

  • Bilingual: French and English required

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office; experience with ERP (Infor) and CRM (Salesforce) is an asset
