Contrôleur financier (CPA) – Rive-Sud de Montréal

Entreprise manufacturière bien établie et en croissance sur la Rive-Sud de Montréal, cherche un(e) Contrôleur(e) financier(ère) membre de l’Ordre des CPA. Le rôle relève de la Direction des finances et comprend la supervision d’une petite équipe comptable, l’amélioration de certains processus et une contribution directe à la qualité et à la fiabilité de l’information financière.

Responsabilités
• Produire les états financiers et les rapports mensuels en conformité avec les normes comptables.
• Gérer les flux de trésorerie et contribuer à la planification budgétaire.
• Superviser l’équipe comptable (AR, AP, gestion/analytique); agir comme personne-ressource « hands-on ».
• Encadrer la paie (rôle de supervision/soutien)
• Structurer et améliorer des processus (ex. rapports de dépenses) et renforcer les contrôles internes.
• Participer activement au dossier de fin d’année et aux demandes ponctuelles de la direction.
• Mettre à jour et documenter les procédures financières.

Profil recherché
• CPA en règle (exigé).
• 5 à 7 années d’expérience pertinente, idéalement en milieu manufacturier.
• Stabilité professionnelle démontrée et sens des priorités dans un environnement PME.
• Leadership positif et rassembleur; capacité d’influence, orientation solution, esprit d’équipe.
• Excellente maîtrise d’Excel (tableaux croisés dynamiques, analyses).
• Aisance avec un ERP (NAV un atout).
• Connaissance d’un système de paie (p. ex. Nethris ou équivalent)
• Français impeccable et anglais fonctionnel pour échanges avec certains fournisseurs.

Job Title: Financial Controller (CPA) – South Shore of Montreal

Position Summary

A well-established and growing manufacturing company located on the South Shore of Montreal is seeking a Financial Controller who is a member in good standing of the CPA Order. Reporting to the Finance Director, this role includes supervising a small accounting team, improving certain processes, and contributing directly to the quality and reliability of financial information.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare financial statements and monthly reports in compliance with accounting standards.

  • Manage cash flow and contribute to budget planning.

  • Supervise the accounting team (AR, AP, management/analytics); act as a hands-on resource.

  • Oversee payroll (supervision/support role).

  • Structure and improve processes (e.g., expense reports) and strengthen internal controls.

  • Actively participate in year-end processes and respond to ad hoc requests from management.

  • Update and document financial procedures.

Desired Profile

  • CPA designation in good standing (required).

  • 5 to 7 years of relevant experience, ideally in a manufacturing environment.

  • Demonstrated professional stability and ability to prioritize in an SME environment.

  • Positive, unifying leadership; influence skills, solution-oriented mindset, and strong team spirit.

  • Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, analysis).

  • Comfortable working with an ERP system (NAV is an asset).

  • Knowledge of a payroll system (e.g., Nethris or equivalent).

  • Excellent command of French and functional English for communication with some suppliers.
