Notre client, un des plus importants syndicats du Québec, est à la recherche d’un (e) avocat spécialisé en droit du travail afin de compléter l’équipe d’une de ses sections.
La personne recrutée fera partie d’une équipe de juristes expérimentée et au service du respect des droits des membres du syndicat.

Statut : Poste permanent

Lieu de travail : Montréal

Principales responsabilités

Agir comme procureur(e) du syndicat en matière de droit du travail et de l’emploi;
Faire toutes les représentations nécessaires à la sauvegarde et à la défense des droits des membres auprès des différentes instances décisionnelles, principalement l’arbitrage de griefs, le Tribunal administratif du travail et le Conseil canadien des relations industrielles;
Défendre l’intégrité des conventions collectives et les droits qu’elles octroient aux membres;
Émettre des conseils et opinions juridiques sur toutes questions liées au droit du travail;
Donner des formations et des conférences en matière de relations du travail;
Devoir occasionnellement se déplacer au Québec.

Exigences

Diplôme universitaire en droit et membre du Barreau du Québec;
Cinq à dix ans d’expérience pertinente;
Haut degré d’autonomie, initiative et professionnalisme;
Habileté à entretenir de bonnes relations interpersonnelles;
Grande habileté en rédaction et en recherche. Esprit d’analyse et de synthèse;
Facilité à vulgariser des concepts juridiques complexes;
Excellente maîtrise de la langue française parlée et écrite, et bonne connaissance de la langue anglaise parlée et écrite.
