What you’ll do

  • Design, build, and maintain a production Android application where AI is at the core of the user experience.
  • Develop modern Android applications using Kotlin.
  • Integrate AI-powered capabilities such as chat, vision, voice, and recommendations through backend APIs.
  • Design intuitive user experiences for AI interactions, including streaming responses, retries, and partial results.
  • Optimize application performance, responsiveness, memory usage, and battery efficiency.
  • Implement analytics, logging, and user feedback mechanisms to support continuous product improvement.
  • Collaborate closely with backend and machine learning engineers to design scalable APIs and deliver seamless AI experiences.
  • Ensure application stability, security, and scalability in production.

What we’re looking for

  • 3+ years of professional Android development experience.
  • Strong experience building Android applications with Kotlin.
  • Experience integrating AI-powered features such as LLMs, vision, speech, or similar technologies.
  • Strong understanding of asynchronous programming using Coroutines and Flow.
  • Experience working with REST or gRPC APIs.
  • Strong debugging, profiling, and performance optimization skills.
  • Familiarity with SQL and NoSQL databases.
  • Experience with ML Kit or TensorFlow Lite is considered an asset.
  • Published Android applications on the Google Play Store are a plus.
  • A builder’s mindset with a strong sense of ownership and a passion for creating exceptional user experiences.
