What you’ll do

Lead the design and evolution of the core application architecture powering AI experiences across backend, mobile, and desktop platforms.
Design scalable backend services, APIs, and client integrations for production AI systems.
Provide hands-on technical leadership through architecture reviews, code reviews, and technical mentoring.
Partner closely with machine learning engineers to translate AI capabilities into reliable, production-ready features.
Drive engineering excellence across scalability, performance, security, reliability, and maintainability.
Build and maintain highly observable systems with robust monitoring, logging, alerting, and incident response.
Make thoughtful architectural decisions that balance speed, cost, reliability, and user experience.
Foster a collaborative engineering culture focused on quality, ownership, and continuous improvement.

What we’re looking for

Significant experience building and leading application or product engineering for complex software systems.
Strong hands-on experience designing and delivering production backend systems.
Experience developing AI-powered products and integrating machine learning capabilities into production applications.
Strong system design skills across distributed services, APIs, and application architecture.
Ability to work across backend, mobile, and desktop environments, with deep expertise in at least one area.
Proven technical leadership experience guiding engineering teams and influencing architectural direction.
Strong communication, collaboration, and mentoring skills.
A builder’s mindset with a strong sense of ownership and a passion for shipping high-quality software.
