What you’ll do

Define the long-term technical architecture across AI systems, infrastructure, developer platforms, and product engineering.
Guide key technical decisions involving distributed systems, model integration, data pipelines, APIs, and scalable cloud infrastructure.
Balance rapid product delivery with long-term architectural quality, reliability, scalability, and maintainability.
Build and grow a high-performing engineering organization by hiring, mentoring, and developing exceptional technical leaders.
Establish engineering standards, development practices, and a culture of technical excellence across the company.
Partner closely with product, machine learning, and research leadership to translate ambitious product goals into scalable technical execution.
Help engineering teams navigate complex technical trade-offs while maintaining a strong bias toward execution and product delivery.
Foster collaboration across globally distributed engineering teams while maintaining alignment on priorities and engineering quality.

What we’re looking for

Significant experience leading engineering organizations building large-scale software or AI products.
Strong hands-on background in software architecture, distributed systems, and modern cloud infrastructure.
Experience delivering production AI-powered products or platforms.
Demonstrated success building and scaling high-performing engineering teams.
Excellent technical judgment with the ability to balance speed, quality, scalability, and long-term maintainability.
Strong communication and leadership skills with experience aligning technical and business priorities.
Comfortable operating in fast-moving startup environments with a builder’s mindset and strong sense of ownership.
