Dans un contexte de croissance et de continuité, nous recherchons aujourd’hui un assistant contremaître de production qui souhaite s’investir à long terme et éventuellement évoluer vers un poste de contremaître.

Le rôle

En collaboration étroite avec le contremaître, vous serez au cœur des opérations quotidiennes et contribuerez directement à la fluidité de la production.

Vos principales responsabilités seront de :

  • Coordonner et suivre les activités quotidiennes de production.

  • Répartir les tâches selon les priorités et les échéanciers.

  • Soutenir et mobiliser les employés sur le plancher.

  • Veiller au respect des standards de qualité, de productivité et de sécurité.

  • Participer à la résolution des enjeux opérationnels.

  • Contribuer à l’amélioration continue des méthodes de travail.

  • Soutenir la formation et l’intégration des employés.

  • Assurer la relève du contremaître lorsque requis.

Profil recherché

  • 5 à 10 ans d’expérience en milieu manufacturier, idéalement dans la fabrication d’armoires de cuisine, de meubles, en ébénisterie ou dans un secteur connexe;

  • Expérience comme chef d’équipe, assistant contremaître ou dans une fonction comportant des responsabilités de coordination;

  • Formation de niveau technique liée ou expérience jugée équivalente;

  • Bonne compréhension des procédés de fabrication;

  • Leadership naturel, jugement et sens de l’organisation;

  • te Capacité à mobiliser une équipe tout en demeurant très actif en usine;

  • Orientation vers la qualité, l’efficacité et la recherche de solutions.

As part of its continued growth, we are currently seeking an Assistant Production Foreman who is looking to build a long-term career with the company and eventually grow into a Foreman position.

The role

Working closely with the Production Foreman, you will be at the heart of daily operations and will contribute directly to the smooth and efficient flow of production.

Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Coordinating and monitoring daily production activities;

  • Assigning tasks based on priorities and production schedules;

  • Supporting, guiding, and engaging employees on the production floor;

  • Ensuring compliance with quality, productivity, and safety standards;

  • Participating in the resolution of operational issues;

  • Contributing to the continuous improvement of work methods and processes;

  • Supporting employee training and onboarding;

  • Acting as backup to the Production Foreman when required.

Profile sought

  • 5 to 10 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, ideally in kitchen cabinetry, furniture manufacturing, woodworking, or a related industry;

  • Experience as a team lead, Assistant Foreman, or in a role involving coordination responsibilities;

  • Relevant technical training or an equivalent combination of experience;

  • Good understanding of manufacturing processes;

  • Natural leadership, sound judgment, and strong organizational skills;

  • Ability to mobilize a team while remaining highly involved on the production floor;

  • Strong focus on quality, efficiency, and practical problem-solving.
